30 Hour Famine Schedule Change!

Hi Parents!
We have unfortunately run into some challenges with our 30 Hour Famine. Stephanie and I (Tony) are both fairly sick today with fevers, colds, headaches, aches and all that kind of stuff. We have talked extensively about what is the best option for the 30 Hour Famine. We don’t want to cancel it, and rescheduling it for a different date would be pretty challenging at this point.
We’ve decided to go ahead with the famine, but to have our volunteer leaders and our intern lead the event. Because of this, we won’t be doing the overnight portion, because we don’t want to put the extra burden on our volunteers. Our intern, Mark Aardahl, will be in charge on Friday night. Mark graduated as a Youth Ministry major and is very capable! One of our volunteers, Jeannie Gossett will be in charge on Saturday morning. Jeannie is a health and physical education major in her Junior Year Bethel. She is great and is also very capable!. We will also have a number of other Wednesday night volunteers who will be there. (Mike Wielinski, Kari Johnson, Kara Sigurdsen, Kelsey Holmberg, Ben Schmitke, and Sam Aardahl)
All transportation will be done by First Student school bus. Parents should pick up their students on Friday night at 11pm and should drop them off Saturday morning at 8:30am. I understand that some parents may not be comfortable without me or Stephanie there, and if that’s the case, please let us know that and we can refund you.
I am very sorry for this inconvenience. It was a hard decision to make, but Stephanie and I did not want to expose your children to what we have. Hopefully you all understand!
Fusion Students Sign up for 30 Hour Famine and 9th Grade Dinner

Fusion/Summit Student Worship Sunday

We are having a student worship service with churches around the area THIS Sunday at Roseville High School from 10:30 - 11:30 am!! We will have busses available from both campuses. This will be a really fun event where students can worship with students from multiple other churches in the Shoreview and Roseville area. Here are the details for the busses from each campus..
Roseville Campus:
Roseville students will all meet (both Summit and Fusion) in the Student Center (room we meet in on Wed) at 9am for a combined Sunday school. Students who aren’t coming to Sunday School at Roseville should meet at 10:15am. The bus will leave Roseville by 10:20am. The bus will be back to Roseville at 11:45am
White Bear Campus:
White Bear students should meet in the Commons at 10:00am.
The bus should be back to White Bear by 11:50. We will not have regular Fusion Sunday morning this week at White bear.
Fusion guy/girl night this Wednesday!

This Wednesday, February 15th, the Fusion group is having a girls/guys night instead of our normal programming. The guys will be at the White Bear Campus and the girls will be at the Roseville Campus. Both groups will meet from 6:45 – 8:00pm. This is going to be a fun night to do guy and girls specific games and each group is going to have a panel of adult leaders who will answer questions about dating/relationship/the opposite gender.
Busses are available from both campuses on this night.
Girls: The bus from White Bear to Roseville is available at the normal time. Meet that bus at White Bear at 6:30pm and it will be back around 8:15pm.
Guys: There will be a bus from Roseville to White Bear. Meet that bus at RV at 6:30pm and it will be back around 8:10pm. (There will be leaders who hang around RV until 6:50 for those who are late for this bus) White Bear Guys, you can feel free to come at 6:30 and help get things set up and hang out!

Ultra Awesome early deadline THIS Sunday!

Fusion Parent Meetings this Sunday!

We will be having a meeting for Fusion Parents at each campus on Sunday, January 29th. We will meet at 10:00 am in Student Center 2 at the Roseville Campus and at 11:45 am in the Student Center at the White Bear Campus.
This will be our time to meet together, evaluate the fall program, and to take a look at the winter/spring programs and activities. Please make every effort to attend this meeting because we’ll be talking about important details for this year.

Just a quick reminder that the early deadline for our Snow Camp Winter retreat is THIS SUNDAY! Make sure you sign up by this Sunday so you can be a part of this awesome experience! To sign up, bring cash or check in an envelope with Snow Camp and the student’s name on it. You can give it to Tony or Stephanie or put it in Tony’s box at either campus. There is a permission form that we will need at some point as well.

Just a quick reminder that the early deadline for our TEAM retreat is THIS SUNDAY! Sign up by this Sunday and the cost is only $60. After that, the cost goes up to $75! To sign up, bring cash or check in an envelope with TEAM and the student’s name on it. You can give it to Tony or Stephanie or put it in Tony’s box at either campus. There is a permission form that we will need at some point as well. It’s our Health activity permission form. I’m attaching the schedule for our retreat weekend to this email.!
